I've been having issues with spinach freshness from Trader Joe's and also Sprouts. So I'm going to make green juice with the baby broccoli which is organic and was only ninety eight cents a pound!! So I'll have green juice and then fruity smoothies. I've been really depressed and feeling like poo so I'm trying to flood my body with nutrients. Especially because I tend to eat a lot of beige dinners on my work nights.
I wanted to thank everyone for the suggestions on getting rid of the stench in my fridge. I scrubbed it two times with my cleaner from Brandless, then I cleaned it with vinegar and I have a bowl of baking soda sitting on the bottom shelf where it happened. The smell is about ninety five percent gone. I just put the baking soda in last night so hopefully by tomorrow my fridge will smell normal.
As I was taking a picture of my lip balm I saw Roxy just sitting like this! She's bird watching but in the funniest position!! She looks drunk!
Such bright green eyes Roxy has! Do pictures even do them justice?
ReplyDeleteNo. They're so vibrant in real life!
DeleteP.S. I was curious about Brandless products and bought a $20 voucher on Groupon for $40 - can’t wait to try their vegan and fair trade items and non-toxic cleaning supplies - and everything is $3 or less?!?! Somebody is running a business right! :)
ReplyDeleteI seriously love them. They have treeless toilet paper made out of sugarcane pulp and bamboo and it is the absolute best. It's all I want to use now! Also, before I ordered from them I reached out to see if their cleaning products were cruelty free and they are part of Peta's Beauty without bunnies program. So all of their cleaning and beauty supplies are cruelty free! I got the summer breeze all purpose cleaner and I'm really happy with it. I am working on my next order now myself. And most if not all of their foods are organic. For three dollars!!!!
DeleteRoxy, drunk on bird watching life!
ReplyDeleteI am glad that the smell is fading, that would have been so awful.
Roxy definitely lives the good life!
DeleteThe smell is fading. I still smell it every now and then, but I think it's psychological at this point.
I'll share my most recent bargain find with you- my work was trying to get rid of all their organic bananas because they were "too ripe" aka actually ripe. So at the end of the day I bought the remaining bananas (getting rid of the bad squished ones) which was about 4 bunches paid only $1.50! They were on sale for 14 cents per pounds. All day I had customers asking if they were ringing up right. lol Such a steal no one was believing it lol
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great deal, especially for organic!!!
