Even though it's only been a week at the most, it felt like ages since I've had oven fries. I baked the fries with spike seasoning, garlic powder and pepper and when they were done I sprinkled on some smoked salt I had picked up in the bulk spice section. I dipped them in this Kansas city BBQ sauce from Trader Joe's for a smoky bonanza. They were amazing. If you like smoky BBQ sauce, this is the sauce for you. It would be great slathered on a grilled veggie burger.
For dessert I had some of the birthday cake cookie dough ice cream from Nada Moo. Man this stuff is delicious. It's vanilla ice cream, yellow birthday cake and cookie dough plus sprinkles! It's so rich and creamy. I'm so happy Harmon's had that sample station set up so I could discover this ice cream!
Although I don't like the word pet, I saw on Twitter that today is National Pet Day, so make sure to give your fur babies some extra love today!
This picture cracks me up. I've mentioned that Joan is the Miss Independent of the crew, and Kanye doesn't always respect boundaries. Notice Joan's foot trying to bunny kick Kanye, who could care less!
