I saw this video this morning, and it made my day. Apparently Joanne (the dog) loves her Gumby chew toy, so imagine her surprise when Gumby walked into her life! I love how she tries to keep the other dog away, like this toy is mine!
My laptop is somewhat fixed. I just had the shop fix it since they offered to do it for free. So now there is no virus, but other things are happening. They wiped it clean, so lots of things are different. I can't get Google for my homepage, even after installing Mozilla Firefox. It gives me Yahoo and I don't like Yahoo. Also, when I type, the cursor moves around. It will just start typing somewhere totally different. There are other little things that are different, and I don't know how to get it back to how it was. I've come to the conclusion that I need to learn more of the technical stuff. But regardless I am so happy to be reunited with my laptop, and despite what the pushy dude said, she still has life in her!
This house is right down the street from me, I walk by it everyday. I am in love with it, it's my favorite house ever. It looks like it should be nestled in the country. This is also the house that has concord grapes on their fence, and it smells soooo good when you walk by.
I love these trees. As their leaves change, they remind me of Mcintosh apples. It's funny how some trees are almost bare, and others are only just starting to change. I feel like I notice trees more here because I'm always looking up at the mountains. I know I keep saying it, but I feel like I will never get used to the beauty of these mountains! I really recommend Salt Lake City as a place to visit, it's so beautiful, and the people are so incredibly nice. And this city is incredibly vegan friendly. I have several vegan and vegetarian restaurants within walking distance of my apartment.
This week has been in the seventies, and in the sixties at night. I wore sandals and a tank top yesterday, in October! I know I'm going to have to deal with snow, so I am taking full advantage of this very mild fall. Also, Afro is transitioning to Brutus in this picture. You can see the attitude in her eyes!
Look at these two. They're sleeping nose to nose! I can't believe I was actually able to get this picture without waking them. This is one of my favorite Caturday pictures ever!
I have so many more pictures, and some are actually of food! I also was gifted a Ninja blender/ food processor from Blake, who I'm sure a lot of you have seen in the comment section. I've never owned a food processor, so I am pretty dang excited. The nutri bullet blender part of it is super powerful. Like I'm talking the best smoothies I've ever made. I'll definitely be back tomorrow with lots more pictures.
Happy Caturday!
Yay, so glad to hear your laptop is working again, even if it's still a bit wonky! That video is so cute, and what an awesome spooky house! The nose-to-nose pic is way too adorable! :D
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to have my laptop back! It was a really long week. That video made my morning. That was a good dad.
DeleteI saw them sleeping nose to nose, and my heart melted.
Welcome back. Glad the laptop is working again - even though that "floating" cursor thing sounds like a real pain in the ass. Love the sandals! I live on the East coast and it's finally become chilly and fall-ish just his week. Like you, I used to love autumn (it was my favorite season), but now I only associate it with the portent of the coming cold. So sad. This year, I'm trying to enjoy it for its brisk, unique beauty.
ReplyDeleteEager to see the latest concoctions!
Thanks for the floating cursor comment. I didn't know what it was called. I Googled it, and I think I might be able to fix it myself. Which is hard to wrap my head around!
DeleteI'm trying to enjoy fall too. But it's so hard sometimes because we know what's next!
Oh my gosh, that photo... nose to nose... so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI know! I couldn't believe it when I saw it!
