New Apartment Tour, and What I Ate!

Well, after doing some more cleaning yesterday, I took some pictures. Keep in mind that I have no furniture other than a bed right now, so once it looks more homey I will do an apartment update! But for now, here is the very basic tour of my new place!
Living room
Kitchen with lots of counter space, and a window!!!
Huge pantry in the kitchen! I've never had a kitchen pantry!!!
The Meow room
Bedroom number two
Bathroom, not my shower curtain, will be replacing

Both bedrooms have these huge closets!

The bathroom also has this pantry! A lotion and potion lovers dream!
Stephen!!
A very dear friend bought that Stephen Colbert bag for me like a million years ago, and somehow with all I've lost, this is still with me. I can't use it to shop anymore, both straps have ripped and are tied together, but I sure love looking at it! I wore that bag into the ground!
I also took pictures of what I ate yesterday, since it was Wednesday. I hope What I eat Wednesday is still a thing?
I started the day with an old friend. Potato wedges with Just Mayo mixed with sriracha for dipping.
For a snack/lunch I had what was supposed to be a green smoothie. I guess I added more strawberries than spinach! This had frozen strawberries, bananas, and a handful of spinach. Yum.
For dinner I had a tofu rice bowl using this delicious grilled tofu I found at the Health food store. It was extra firm and grilled. And it was super cheap, which usually any specialty tofu is not cheap. I think Hodo Soy made it. I will show you the package the next time I get it. I baked it with this delicious Bulgogi marinade that moved with me.
I found this at Fred Meyer. I have never had Bulgogi anything, so I am no expert on the authenticity of this sauce, but it tastes pretty amazing to me! I can taste sesame oil, and it's sweet, and spicy and a little sour. Just Ahmazing.
I had this chocolate covered Cocomel bar for dessert. I am in love with this. Having caramel as a vegan is awesome enough, and then cover it in dark chocolate? Everyone needs this in your life!
I also drank the Sprouts kombucha. I swear I took a picture, but maybe I didn't. You can see it in the background in the smoothie picture. It was cherry lemonade. It was pretty good, but Kevita remains my favorite! I did notice that the Health food store had lots of new to me kombuchas, so as soon as I have steady income coming in, I will do some booch taste tests!

    1. Thanks! It's kind of hilarious that I have all this space and nothing to fill it! Life likes to be funny! I'm going out today to pound some more pavement, and I plan on trying to get some more pictures!

  2. That looks like a great kitchen and I'm impressed with all the built in storage. Love that the kitties have their own room too! Cocomels sound amazing. Vegan caramel is not really a thing yet in the UK although someone posted on Facebook yesterday about a company that has just started up. They are selling a vegan version of rolos and are working on a Daim bar. They also sell different flavour caramels and you can order a selection of mini bags which they are marketing as 'toffee tapas' which I thought was a great name :)

  3. I am going to love filling the kitchen pantry with tons of beans and grains! When i have it all nice, I will be like a real blogger and do a pantry tour!
Vegan rolos sound amazing. I have really missed caramel as a vegan. I love the name toffee tapas as well!

    1. It is going to be a lot of fun to decorate! There is a local thrift store that has super cheap everything, so it's going to be super fun!

  6. That's great there is plenty of storage built in! Especially in the kitchen. I remember having to cram things into tiny cupboards and stacks of boxes in previous houses I lived in.
Your food looks great! Potatoes for breakfast, cannot go wrong.

    1. Me too! Almost every place I've lived, it's been a nightmare finding room. Now, I feel overwhelmed by the space!
Potatoes and lentil soup are two of my favorite things to have for breakfast!

  7. I saw the kombucha on your instagram! So I believe you ^__~ I wish I had a sprouts on the east coast to try it out.

That place looks HUGE! Perfect for you and your kitties!

I really need to try those cocomels! I remember whole foods was carrying this one brand of caramels and there was a vegan one and I got it each time I went as a little treat. Glad I splurged because they didn't last very long on the shelves. T_T

    1. I am so happy that I got to shop at Sprouts! It's like if a Co-op and Whole Foods had a baby!
The place feels too big, I've never lived in a two bedroom by myself. Once I get more furniture it will feel smaller I think. I love all the space in the kitchen!
The Cocomels are so amazing! You definitely need them in your life. I also got a vegan M&M that I can't wait to try!

    2. You should check out if there is a ReStore near you. They have second hand furniture and you can find some really good deals. The one near me has lots of couches and living room stuff but some more practical things can be hard to find like shelves, mirrors, dressers.

    3. OOh, I will check that out. I love second hand stores so much, and I've come to love used furniture. New stuff seems almost uncomfortable in a way.
